Lily’s Passion Fruit Glaze
I don’t know if it’s her age, her cute, quirky personality or just that we are both food obsessed, but I am having so much fun cooking and baking with Lily lately. The other day she leaned her head down on her hand, looked at me with this happy, but intense look and said, “Mascarpone and meringue, what’s that other ‘M’ food word?” For some reason in that moment, I couldn’t name one other “M” food word; all I could do was stare at her cute freckles and those sparkly, blue eyes and think, you are too cool for words, kid. Where do you come up with these questions?

A Tiny, Delicious Package of Thanks
We’ve been in our new house in Maine for about three weeks now. I feel like every house has it’s own personality. This one definitely does with it’s old school charm, high ceilings and tall windows, even the creaky hardwood floors tell their own story. We’re still unpacking, stuff…so much stuff!! Still figuring out where we want everything, hanging curtains, painting rooms, figuring out what remodels we want to do, enjoying all the light and brightness. And we’ve been cooking our own delicious food in our own kitchen again. Lovely.
